Sometimes creatures are trapped inside a lump of clay, just waiting to be coaxed out by squishing and pulling until they become loosed upon the world. The tricky part is to free them with their spirit intact. Tragically, some are stuck tight and may just never be freed. I hear them, often relentlessly, so it is for those unhappy but hopeful creatures that I pursue this art despite its fragility.
All my happiness and contentment with art and life and all successes therein I owe directly to my incredible husband, Carlos and our awesome son, Alex. Without their voices, I would be a creature trapped. Thanks, also to my awesome family, my mom and dad, my sister, Mel, my brothers, and my Cristofaro family for their support and enthusiasm.

Noble, fierce or playful, every dragon shines with her own spirit and personality.
